Ayatollah Boroujerdi University has started its work since 2005 in Boroujerd city. The university has 3 faculties and 15 fields of study with mor than 100 faculty members. more than 5000 undergraduate and graduate students are studying at the university.

The university is located in the western part of the country with the area of 30 hectares of land. The main campus of the university includes all educational, research, and welfare buildings. The university has mor than 5000 undergraduate and graduate students in the three majors of Engineering, Basic Sciences, and humanities. Equipped laboratories and workshops have been provided to assist the research and educational activities of students and university professors.

The ultimate objective of Ayatollah Boroujerdi University is to train creative and entrepreneurial specialists and researchers and to meet regional and national needs.
