Boroujerd
Boroujerd is one of the historical cities of Iran, which is considered as one of the tourist destinations in the west of the country due to its many natural and historical attractions. This city is located in the Zagros mountains and in the mountainous region of this mountain range.
The mosque, now known as the Boroujerd Grand Mosque, is the oldest mosque in western part of Iran, built on the remains of an old fire temple. The main building of the mosque belongs to the seljuk period, and the two Minaret of this mosque were added to the beauties of this mosque in the 13th century AH.
Boroujerd handicrafts are carpet-weaving, rug- weaving, and its Warsaw making has been famous.
